Last day

What a change in the weather down here in Cornwall this morning, we awoke to welcome rain hammering on the window and so much cooler.  The day didn’t perk up at all, but it’s our last day so we stayed in, more sewing and reading for me before starting the big clean and pack up for an early start home tomorrow.  I had a last mooch round the garden, everything nicely damp.  The Hydrangeas are looking well and I’ve put the last of the Roses in extra, it’s name is ‘Retirement’ and was given to one of our hosts as a leaving present from her colleagues after leaving her long career with BA. 
 
We’ve had a wonderful couple of weeks here with some beautiful weather, looking forward to next year already!
