Mudeford

We're spending a couple of days with friends in Southampton. It's quite a bit cooler down here than back home. One of our requests was a visit to the seaside which was accommodated with an afternoon trip to Mudeford. It was even cooler there and there was some thunder and rain (about 10 minutes worth).

Having said that it was still very warm and we did a lot of walking - 14k steps. There were rather a lot of of beach huts, some available for rent, some for sale. I looked one up - £125k, with an annual licence fee of £1100.

We also had some excellent fish and chips, another request on our list.
