Wound up in Wexford

Gaura

Our garden is looking very neglected - the only things green (and flowering well) on the "lawn" are the many weeds - the grass is totally brown.  Several of the plants and trees are looking rather water deprived, and we will be giving them a drink this evening.

But the gaura is looking pretty wonderful, and for the first year, it is clear to see the three varieties - mainly white, mainly pink, and white with pink edging.

The pond is now full of water - it remains to be seen if the dragonflies return.  The pond bed is also looking quite good - it may feature later this week.

We've advertised (free to anyone who wants it) locally some of our furniture that we feel will be surplus to needs in Ireland, and one item has already been collected, with some more due to go tomorrow and at the weekend.  And things are finally moving on the conveyancing front.  Maybe we will get over the line this time......
