Planting Geraniums

... in Mum's new raised bed along the edge of the new patio.

A day dictated by the need to find some relief for Jamie began for me at 5am when 111 Dr rang.   Almost twelve hours after we logged the call.  They were not able to help, Jamie must be seen.   The reasons for this make sense, in  the circumstances it is good practice.   Just a very long way round - can't call it a scenic route - to the result we were after and for us a lot of time spent on a simple enough option.  So a trip to a local A&E where after sitting in a very crowded waiting area for nearly four hours we came away with the prescription we sought.  Using the current infection data at least five people in that space will have been infected with Covid.   Hmph.

We were back to Mum's in time to spend some time with my brother Steve and his wife who had come over to see us and Mum.   We all sat  outside enjoying the new space looking out over the garden.   Jamie's feeling a bit better and we hope to get home tomorrow.    By the time Mum and I finished planting and watering in the garden it was almost dark.   A flash Blip!
