A Sunshiny Day

There was another gathering in the Dower House today when the Glasgow family came to meet the soon to be new parents.

It was warm enough for some people to eat outside, there not being enough room at the dining room table for everyone which meant a general to-ing and fro-ing so that no one starved.

The sun shone and Ewan aged 8 (going on 18 ) entertained us with his eclectic general knowledge mainly geography related and George with his stories of his Lebanese forebears.

Before we knew it, it was 5pm, the sun had stopped shining and the rain had set in. Everyone decided it was time to depart leaving the daughter and me to restore order in the house

Another good family get together. I enjoyed it and I hope everyone else did too.
