Rain

By the time we'd dropped Miss Flum back home it  would have been pushing it to get to church so we stayed home and joined the service on Zoom.

This meant that we had time before lunch to remove the fruit cage and pick the remaining gooseberries unhampered by netting and with minimal further injury.

I'd sent a WhatsApp offering some to B, S and the Flumlet so they popped round on their way home to collect them; they had no sooner left when the heavens opened. This view is from my flopping chair of the sunroom roof during the rainfall.

So all is safely gathered in, just in time.
