Cathedral Park

This morning the botanical garden hosted a "Plant Stroll", one of four that we're launching our educational program with. The stroll is held at Cathedral Park, in the St. John's neighborhood of Portland. It was a gorgeous morning, crystal clear blue skies and very pleasant temps. It heated up as the day went on, so I was glad that we had the stroll done by noon!

If you'd like to read more about this gorgeous bridge and the park under it, you can do so here..
And more photos on Yelp here. (Worth looking at I think.)
And more about the Plant Strolls here.

We're using this park as our base since it's got a nice variety of plants, and it is our hope that our garden will be located not too far south of the park, still in the St. John's neighborhood.

Other than that, I did a lot of watering today - hoping to bring the gardens through the heatwave this week without too much damage.

Thank you all so much for your lovely stars, hearts and comments on yesterdays dragonflies and hydrangea!
