Wet, cold and windy … again

We went out for a slow walk before breakfast this morning.  The wind was very strong, and invigorating I think is the word. It was at our backs on the way out and, at times, almost lifted us off our feet. It was also raining but we were well rugged up in our wet weather gear. On the way back home via a different route we managed mostly to shelter from the wind. The rain and wind have continued all day and the only word for what it’s been like outside is dreich!

Other parts of New Zealand were much worse with flooding, slips and power outages … again.

I took a photo of the waves rolling in to Kohimarama Beach for today’s blip.
