The Remarkable Mountain Range …

….. from Coronet Peak.
Daughter A. and I had driven up Coronet Peak to the Drop-Off at the Base Station, to pick up my brother-in-law, who’s stayed in a lodge up there since Sunday; skiing.

He’s been skiing since he was walking and used to visit down here for skiing with his parents when they had to walk & carry their gear up from the Skippers Saddle, to the one and only rope tow. How things have changed!

We drove down to a restaurant very near the base of the mountain at Arthur’sPoint and had a lovely chatty lunch together. What a delightful get together! One of the best.
