Lords And Ladies

I found this wonderful little clump of wild arum (aka cuckoo pint, lords-and-ladies) on my walk this morning. I don’t think I have seen so many close together like this before. The bright red berries are usually a sign of autumn…. ho hum!

This is a nine shot focus stack. To get quite close I had to clear a few thistles and nettles. In the absence of a tripod, I finished up with my camera resting on a bean bag, which was on top of my camera bag on the ground!!
