At last, some rain!
 
 
When I woke up (came to) this morning we were greeted with wet everything when I drew back the curtains, what a welcome sight.
 
The actual amount was 2.8 mm (as confirmed by ours and neighbouring weather stations), the emergency rain gauge having a head start with some debris inside it.
 
This was all we got, but it has made such a difference.
 
 
Feeling a bit out of sorts today.  I’m sure it’s nothing to do with all the wine and Chinese food consumed yesterday evening . . .
