A Push-me Pull-you?

Today we head home.  Making our usual stop at Mainsgill Farm Shop I spotted their Bactrian Camels lying in the position which reminded me of the Push-me Pull-you in the film Doctor Dolittle. After lunch and some shopping, we continued home.

Bactrian Camels (Camelus bactrianus) or Mongolian Camel is native to the steppes of Central Asia.  Like its cousin, the Dromedary (Camelus dromedarius) Bactrian camels have been domesticated, so these three (not all shown in the shot) live in the field between the farm and the road.  Being tame they sometimes are prepared to come up to the fence to examine the customers.
