Greenbank Gardens

We visited Greenbank Gardens this afternoon with C, who had a day off.

My photograph is at the pond where the sculpture is from the Empire Exhibition in Glasgow in 1938 at Bellahouston Park.  The gardens are very well tended by the gardeners and also by volunteers, and as it was a lovely warm day we had a nice walk around and a seat at some points to enjoy the ambience of the gardens.  I have posted some extras.

We rarely go anywhere without meeting someone we know, and today was no exception as a lady recognised us from country dancing, both at Troon and Aberfoyle.  Had a nice chat with her.

Dancing tonight, so the HG is busy preparing by looking at UTube, as some of the dances are not called..

Just going to make dinner, which is leftover chicken from yesterday with a green salad and some potato salad too, made with our home grown potatoes.
