You are being watched

This old cock pheasant came into the garden this morning, he was watched through the kitchen window.  Just out for a ramble pecking at a few bits in the lawn.  He has lost his tail feathers but despite that looks very handsome.

Drove down to the farmyard to sign in a delivery of electrical cable.  On the way back the car just would not move in either first gear or reverse .... T arrived and phoned our garage man who said the drive shaft had probably broken ..... the car would have to go in by trailer.  Phoned the AA who said as my car tax was not up to date - by a couple of days - they could not help me so T is taking it in tomorrow on the back of a friend's trailer.  So that is the end of my plans for a day or two. At least I didn't break down on the road somewhere!
