Firkling again

Part 2 of the day was essential errands, when we couldn't resist a quick antiques firkle. This is identical to the one my granny had when I was a toddler and my eyes were roughly level with its handle.

Part 1 of the day was moving heavy furniture single handed up to the attics, to make room for stuff coming out of store next week. First I did a quick attic recce, found my old weights, did a lot of reps and felt terribly virtuous. Then I started carrying the furniture up the narrow, twisting stairs, ran out of energy halfway through the job, and felt terribly stupid.

Still, the recuperative powers of an enormous coffee are remarkable.
