Dunnock fledgling

A lot of dunnocks visit our garden. Here is one of the fluffy fledglings, photographed this morning as Mr hazelh and I were eating our MMNs*.

We have VIP visitors due to arrive tomorrow afternoon so we have been busy preparing for their visit. We went supermarket shopping, cooked, cleaned, and gardened. While engaged in the latter I listened to a podcast about Margaret Fuller, astonished that I had never heard of her before, and that I happen to know the site of her death.

Exercise today: walking and gardening (11,329 steps).

*Can anyone guess what these are?
