Down at the seaside and in the New Forest

Today was an exciting one in Winchester GoLD 's calendar. 36 of us, comprising members, staff, and volunteers of this group for people with learning disabilities, plus one impeccably behaved guide dog, had a grand day out in the New Forest. First, we took a train  from Winchester to Brockenhurst, then caught the open top bus to Milford on Sea, where we had lunch, some people paddled, and the dog swam in the sea. Next we took the  bus to Lymington where we  explored the quay and marina (the subject of my blip)and ate ice cream, before taking the bus back to Brockenhurst and then a train to Winchester.
It may sound a leisurely trip, but I am feeling rather tired  now!
