The P. Ardens is spending the summer outside

My lovely Pelargonium Ardens is spending the summer outside. It is quite old now and was looking a bit frail and leggy, so I thought it might like some summer sunshine. Well it has certainly had that.

The lovely flowers which I like so much have been growing very well, with new shoots regularly appearing on the flowering stems. Do go 'large' to see the detail of the tiny pink stamens. Each five petalled flower is only about 2 cms in diameter.

I have taken cuttings over the years, and I think this has grown from one of those. I think it is time to try and get a new plant as they can't last for ever. Nothing can. So I will enjoy it while I can.
