Bus Pass Walk

A jump on the first bus which comes into the bus station type of walk.  It turned out to be a bus to Hebden Bridge to our delight as it is a very scenic journey over the moors, and with the heather coming into bloom it looked wonderful.  Alighting at the railway station we had a coffee before setting off to walk along the canal.  Very quiet and no boats moving so perhaps part of the canal is closed further along.  Lots of lovely flowers along the towpath - some I had never seen before (a few more photos in extras).  Once back in Hebden Bridge centre we went to our “usual” cafe, but there seemed to be a problem in the kitchen and it was a very long wait for the food.  We still managed to catch our planned bus back though, and then boarded the “glorified bread van” for a very warm and bumpy ride back to the village! A good day.
