Conwy Evening

We arrive in Conwy just as the sun is slipping down behind the hills, casting a soft glow on the near flat calm of the river estuary. This is a very gentle sunset, the cloudless sky reflecting little colour - though  blues and mauves will soon emerge.  We walk along the estuary shores towards the river mouth as the final rays of sunlight bathe the scene in rose gold tones.

In contrast to this serene scene, it’s been a busy couple of days of scheduled local visits to family and friends and despite my best efforts, I’m behind again with comments and responses - and, indeed, with entries! But thanks again for all your kind comments, stars and hearts this week.
