Lunch at the lake

It's been a beautiful day and we took Alison for Sunday lunch at La Laguna, an Italian restaurant at Lac de Genval - the food was wonderful!

Then we went for a walk round the lake, where there are some fabulous houses right on the edge of the water, and we saw this floating terrace. It was really cool, they had a BBQ on it, and if you look closely you can see that everyone's sat round a table with beer and wine on chill! It had a little motor so every now and then they could sail further up the lake - it looked like a great way to have lunch!

Anyway, after our walk Alison and I decided we'd hire a pedalo and went for a sail ourselves. It's a long time since I've been in control of a pedalo and it was hard work, we certainly worked off our lunch!

It's been another lovely afternoon and now we're chilling at home with a nice bottle of wine - hope you've had a good weekend!
