Verdant heron

An early visit to the supermarket, to get most of what we needed for the meals over the weekend, and then I walked on to Stockbridge to go to the butchers. Also visited the cheese shop at the west end of Stockbridge, and picked up a wee plant for the space left by hoicking out the sweet peas earlier in the week.

Busy busy during the day, trying to get this paper finished (generally successful....) and then P & H arrived, when I'd barely been in the shower....

Lovely convivial evening...of the sort belonging to the before times.

Mr Heron was putting on a show on the Rocheid path.
