Wentworth Woodhouse

An indoor day today, the street is very quiet and I think most people are sensibly doing the same while it's so hot. I picked up the next reading group book from the library yesterday,  looks very interesting  and is based on the history of Wentworth Woodhouse, a very grand stately home in South Yorkshire.  I've yet to visit it, but no doubt will be doing so in the very near future, it's less than five miles away.....the front facade is as long as the length of two football pitches, there are over three hundred rooms and five miles of corridors....
