Hot Chocolate

Just a dead looking bare rooted rose when I planted it last spring, but it's rewarded me with some beautiful blooms in this unusual shade of red. .
A misty start this morning, almost autumnal, but the sun was back by 9.30 and it's been a hot day again...lovely.
Breakfast and my book in the shade and a Skype later with G and Ben.. Just taken delivery of some summer walking sandals....ever the optimist!..
Staying up late tonight to watch A Star is Born with Lady Gaga. ...seen it once before and enjoyed it so much..:)
