We bought a new (to us) car

Earlyish start to get to the garage by 10am so I could test drive the car Mr PHL had sourced yesterday. We hadn’t really planned to change the car now but as it needs a wee bit of work it seemed opportune to look at what was available out there that could be a good tow car (for the caravan we haven’t bought yet!). And et voila.

Phin was very well behaved considering it must have been quite boring for him. There was a lot of hanging around and we could have been out much quicker than the 3 hours we were there if our salesman hadn’t been quite so friendly and talkative! Mr PHL did all the negotiating and we got a good deal on the car. So we pick it up on Wednesday - photos and description to follow.

Barely got home in time for Mr PHL to head back out to collect Miss PHL from the airport after her trip to the Algarve with 2 girlfriends. I took Phin to Springfield Mill for a runaround in the trees and a quick swim in the river.

It’s been another hot one but think the weather may break tomorrow.
