Gusbourne vineyard

today we were on an 'estate tour' at Gusbourne vineyard , near Appledore  in Kent.  It was another very generous retirement gift from work.  We had an interesting walk around the grounds and the winery and a superb lunch all accompanied by copious amounts of various types of their wine. They are best known for their English sparkling wine and I think that was my favourite.
Main photo is the view from the highest point overlooking vines and the Romney marshes beyond. Extra of a rose at the end of a row. They plant one (with the colour representing the type of vine) at the end of each row as an early warning sign for pests and diseases.
