Heatwave

The heatwave is still ongoing with a tad lower max temperature of 28.2C today, but feeling a lot hotter and humid with the clear blue skies and no wind. I got up at 6 again to let some cooler air into the bungalow. G and I met up at Weybourne at 8am for an early walk along the cliff towards Sheringham in an attempt to beat the heat. We walked as far as the path which if followed leads to the bridge crossing the railway, then to Sheringham Park - we'll probably attempt a large circular walk at some time. After walking for nearly two hours, I think we'd both nearly melted. The sea is such a beautiful colour at the moment. The two photos are of the fishermen out on the shingle, and the coastguard cottages which G gives a fascinating history of in her journal   https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3005484084135724440
It was too hot to do anything this afternoon apart from watch a film, process my photos and have a nice long chat with one of my sisters.
