Sill glowing

It was another hot day. I felt quite lethargic by the time I finished work and so, although I started to get ready for my Tai Chi class, I decided against it. We stayed in and watched another Only Murders In The Building. I do feel guilty but, equally, I have little desire to fling my arms around in the heat. Looking outside this evening I can see again that the firework lamp that I bought during the first lockdown is still glowing. I’m delighted when I see this each evening. It’s one of those things I bought when we didn’t know how long we would be stuck in the house (or garden). And a moment to the fact that we, like it, survived the lockdowns and continue don the other side.
