I did take a minimalist photo

I did take a minimalist photograph, but I prefer this photo essay. 

I got to see my favorite model and the daughter of the author I got to do the headshot for. 

Russia uses a mercenary group called Wagner. It was formed in 2014 to back Ukrainian separatists. It committed war crimes in Syria. In 2018, three Russian journalists who were investigating the group were killed in an ambush. Human Rights Watch has accused the mercenaries of torturing, executing and kidnapping civilians in the Central African Republic. In December the EU slapped sanctions on Wagner and accused it of human rights abuses. 


Ukraine said it destroyed Wagner's base near Melitopol. Its whereabouts were established thanks to a Russian journalist who visited and posted a photograph that showed a nearby address. 


Latvia donated four helicopters to the Ukrainian Air Force. Latvia has made substantial contributions per GDP, weaponry, drones, dry rations, ammunition, anti-tank weapons, and Stinger missiles worth over 200 million euros.


New Zealand is sending 120 military instructors to the UK to train Ukrainian soldiers. 


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, creative agency Banda, and singer Jamala developed the “Thank you, Stranger” campaign to express gratitude to neighboring countries for helping the Ukrainian people.
