Migrant

Another Migrant Hawker in this case it is the female. I was in two minds whether to go for this shot the dragon perching on a leafy branch as the main, or the one of the insect in flight.  In the end I've gone for the static shot for the main as it nicely shows all her colouration and detail.

We've had lunch with out son and his wife today, which was very enjoyable as always. On the way back we drove past a local pub/restaurant which has 2 very large sandwich boards up outside advertising ... and bear in mind it is only the 20th August today .... their Christmas meals(!) Polite words failed me.
