Wound up in Wexford

Cheers

First thing after breakfast we brought in all the stuff from the car.  The AirBnb we're in has a lovely big lounge.  It has a couple of downsides, such as a rather small kitchen, but the host has been incredibly accommodating.  We were able to borrow a small stepladder to make emptying the roof box easier, and then she cleared space in her shed for the roof box.

After a cheese and biscuit lunch we walked (somewhat circuitously, as there seems to be a problem with mobile reception round here, and Google Maps was struggling) to the local Co-op for a few necessities.  On the way back we got caught in a rain shower.  We ended the walk somewhat damp - even if we had wanted to, we couldn't have taken coats, as they missed the cut yesterday and are languishing in the garage at our (almost) ex house.

As we got in, my phone rang, the conveyancer was finally able to tell us that contracts have been exchanged - completion on Wednesday.

It seemed this was a good enough reason to break the 6 o'clock rule and sup some wine.

W has cooked us a lovely dinner, I've washed up, and now I'm shattered, off to bed shortly.
