Distillery

More soup-making this morning, lentil with coriander and caraway this time. Some for lunch today, but most of it has gone into the freezer.

Walked down to the river this afternoon, and wore the new boots. They'll need a little bit of wearing in, methinks. Passed by the Ad Gefrin distillery on the way back. The distillery itself will be up and running this autumn, but rather than rush things the 'Visitor Experience' won't be open to the public until February.

The buildings on the site look as though they're nearing completion, and the two big windows at the front of the main distillery building look fabulous.  Love the reflections in this one, and if you look carefully you can see the giant copper stills behind the glass.

As I write this I can hear geese honking as they fly over, a sure harbinger of autumn...
