While Jan was ensconced in the Red-Cross charity shop I went for a walk and discovered a new area of town. A mix of steps, carparking and footpaths where the town slopes steeply down to the sea and the northern sound.
Later in the day I took my replacement SUP board out for a paddle on our lake. It was breezy and there were small waves, or were they large ripples, but I stayed upright. I was out for around 90 minutes and covered about 3 kms. Once back to my starting point I went for a swim and was pleasantly surprised by how warm the water was. The warm sunny days seem to be counteracting the chilly (10°C) nights.
