Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Giles Street

The Virgin man came and worked wonders, moved out him and linked our controller to our Tv, he was a very effective woman called Amanda!
Drove Eilidh down to meet I and her best friend from nursery at Leith Water World, except its not called that any longer as there's no water! Agat moved to France just over a year ago and they haven't met since so she and Isobel had a great time. They were over for years in nursery together. How nice that the friendship continues. Katy is taking her girls to France in the October break to meet up with them again.
Alloy and Josie came over, Josie is much better and such a joy. I can't tell you the feeling of being greeted by that warm smile and the outstretched arms. She's standing freely now and will be walking within the week I should think.
This evening we went out to a friends 80th birthday. When did I grow old enough to have friends having 80th birthdays? Very jolly!
The blip today I spotted on a wall in Giles Street in the depths of urban Leith. A tiny garden has been created and this cherub and rabbit are on top of one of its walls.
