Last tour into the mountains (for now)

It was hard, but we had to leave the Stubai valley. Even harder, because the weather turned out to be perfect for a walk above the tree line. Well, why would we not still do that?
So, we stopped at the Schlick2000 cable and went up to 2100m. We had a lovely view, to all close-by mountains but also, when the few clouds were out of the way, to remote mountain peaks.
In my main you can see a paraglider who was looking at me. They started at the same level, but went up into the clouds to 3000m or more. The view for them must have been marvellous!
We walked around a line of peaks, so we could see the all mountains surrounding. We also visited one of the peaks, the one that was accessible without mountaineering equipment. In the first extra you can see brave Hanulli following me to the top.
The second extra shows the beautiful weather and the view we had. In this picture you can see a glacier in the distance, a glacier adjacent to the one we visited last Friday. (To the right of the one you see here.)
We are back home now, but our vacation was lovely. We might consider to visit Renfrebar soon again ....
