A day in the life

Concert-sort of

I just came home from our latest venue, Evas and mine. Evas husband B, is a member of "Lions Club" and invited Eva and me to play during one of their meetings, this time at their home, in the barn where we've played several times before. It was an informal meeting, more of a social gathering,  with food, music, coffee, a lecture on home-region and more music. We played music from both our repertoars, Gustaf Fröding, Swedish poet from the 19th century and -The Beatles. An odd mixture but it works fine where people are a bit on the elderly side, like this evening. The guy, in the main is Lars who gave a lecture on the history of the region.
Evenings like this are difficult because they are often long and it's hard to keep concentrated when there are several breaks during the evening. We were pleased though, and so were the "audience".
A work day from five to ten, including a lot of waiting. I'm off to bed as soon as possible.
