City?

Oh Edinburgh :)

Looking across the Meadows and over to the Crags & Arthur's Seat. And all just a glance away from the city centre!

As comfy as the bed was and as tired as I was feeling, last night's shift being my first sleepover with an unfamiliar (though wonderfully comfy) bed and sleep surroundings meant it took a while to nod off. So today has been slightly on autopilot :)

Still, that shift ended well and I managed a bit of breathing space before the next one. Although a long shift it was very positive & relaxed for the SUs, so a happy staff team. Little wander through the Meadows then dinner with my soon to be new flatmates...lease signed and all!

Surreal and slightly crazy 36 hours. Absolutely shattered but incredibly thankful. Off for a long, long sleep.


Hoping May will be a slightly calmer month :)
