Yet more spring cleaning

We got stuck into more spring cleaning today. Hubby’s been giving the balconies a good scrub down after they’ve been battered by the rain over winter, and has put some more plants into the pots. Meanwhile, I got on with some indoor cleaning. After lunch we picked up Mum and took her with us while we gathered up the weekend’s open home signs. Along the way I bought Mum a Trumpet (Cornetto), which she enjoyed while we drove. After dropping her back at her retirement village, we took the car home then walked back to Mum’s to spend an hour with her before we had supper.

After supper we sat down to watch another episode of Unforgotten, which was so gripping we just had to watch the following episode.  Oh my, the twists and turns.  Wonderful!

The blip is of the “fountain” and garden immediately in front of the entrance to the main building at Grace Joel, Mum’s retirement village.

As Covid numbers are dropping they are no longer reported on the weekend.
