Bygone Times

A trip to a museum was on the cards today on account of rain in the forecast. There was promise of a new exhibit, but it turned out to be the same as the previous visit many years ago. However they had built a swanky new visitor centre with the usual gift shop, cafe and car park.

Unexpectedly, the weather improved with blue sky for a time. A windmill a short drive away gave me the chance for a few photos. I tried from every angle but the surrounding vegetation restricted how far back I could go. I positioned the tree to fit between the sails, it would be hard to exclude it and is characterful in any event.

Extra: Staying In Touch. From the museum. I remember something similar as a child.
