Nature's Voice

Bored with the usual and familiar, I toyed with "creative alternatives", using long focal lengths, aperture and defocussing.

Using the impression of reeds poking out of the water to make marks in the image, random not uniform, with varying gaps between. Afterwards, I rotated orientation so the lines run horizontally. They appear to be a waveform recorded by nature for our listening pleasure.

The more I look at the image, it seems to shimmer as if it contains a hidden secret. I know it's just my mind searching for a pattern, but I ought to simply accept it for what it is.
