Off to the Climbing Unit this morning, I'm trying to go twice a week as it's good for me and indeed I'm much better than I was last Thursday. New climbing wall friend Alan was already there and we encouraged each other for an hour or so until he'd got to go and my fingers were refusing to grip.

I called at Asda on my way home and it seems that I've bought a Ninja, which is very exciting!

I haven't turned my oven on since the start of the hot weather and now, because of rising energy costs, I'm still not using it. Apparently air fryers are the second most economical way to cook, the first being the microwave. I'm so excited!

P.S. Panorama on BBC1 this evening is about the energy crisis. Interesting.
