Long Legs!

Visit from 3 of the gang tonight. For my sewing pleasure I have 4 badges to sew on to Ben’s scout shirt and 3 trousers of Cameron to hem the legs!!! Aaaargh! Two for his McDonalds uniform and one school trousers. I suppose it’s nice to feel needed:). Tuesday sees Cameron and his some of his class on a bus trip to Edinburgh to visit the Edinburgh university’s. He couldn’t remember which ones…. Anyway, the bus leaves first thing from the Academy up the road from us.

When we were walking into town (walking is great for chatting, no other distractions) I was reminiscing about how amazing the holidays we had when the boys were young, taking them away with us, and then, when Laura and Dave both worked a Saturday at weekends we would have them then too, doing stuff. I know Ben is still only 11 but Cameron is 17 now and we aren’t needed for him much at all. Times are moving on. I came home and looked at a lot of my old photos of fun times we had over the years with them.

Boiler was serviced today, all is well there.

In more depressing news the not very bright facist Truss is the new PM of the UK. We sunk low with Bojo and now even ……. Actually they are both not very bright, we had dumb and now we have dumber. How low has the U.K. dropped in 12 years of Tory rule.
