It may be raining...

On this sad day when Queen Elizabeth died, i had been out with my daughter and grand son for a walk in the rain. The grey and dismal weather seemed to mirror the mood of the country when we later discovered that our queen had died. It is a sombre moment. I would not describe myself as a monarchist but i have a deep respect for Queen Elizabeth who served her country and lived out her Christian faith with humility and honour. She will be greatly mussed.
Grateful today for having lived my whole life under the reign of Queen Elizabeth, for a time of reflection with family and for cuddles with Jasper, my grandson.
