A social day

We went to the Parnell Farmer’s Market this morning, then hubby left for the Maritime Museum. Meanwhile I did some household chores, a five-minute trip around the supermarket and then met a couple of friends for coffee and a chat. Afterwards I just had time to get home, park the car and dash for the bus. I met hubby at the Maritime Museum and we walked across the bridge to the Cheese Bar in the Wynyard Quarter, where we met an America’s Cup Volunteer friend for … you guessed it … cheese and wine. We spent an enjoyable couple of hours eating cheese, drinking wine and catching up with each other’s news. When we arrived home we popped across and spent some time with Mum.

At the market this morning we saw the chap who sells hemp oil in an amazing green-patterned suit.  I asked if I could take his photo and he was happy to oblige, insisting that hubby be included.  This evening there was a full moon, so the blip is a collage of hubby and the hemp man, the cheese platter the three of us shared this afternoon, and two photos of the moon.

As Covid numbers are dropping they are no longer reported on the weekend.
