Media Vita in Morte Sumus

How's your high school Latin?  "Amongst Life we are in death."  This fern fond has given up the ghost well before all the others.  It began as a tight green spiral and it ends with a brown one.  I will be attending dear Harvey's funeral today and with the Queen's passing on Thursday I seem to be preoccupied with death.  But, as Ecclesiastes says, "There is a time for every purpose under heaven...a time to be born and a time to die..."  I am so glad it will be a lovely day for the graveside service for Harvey as he is laid to rest with a lot less fanfare than the Queen needless to say but just as meaningful.
