Wound up in Wexford

How lovely is this?

Our AirBnb hosts have been incredibly accommodating.  One of the reasons we chose this apartment was the availability of a car charger - we've been able to use it whenever we wanted.

They found space for our roof box in their garage, and were able to loan us the use of a couple of small sets of steps to facilitate emptying it, and then, today, refilling it.

Their apartment was spacious enough for us to fully unload the car of all our stuff, so we could spend time re-sorting, trying to fit more into each box.

And when we met for a chat this morning A presented us with this lovely card, wishing us good fortune on our adventure.

Today we've refilled the car and roof box.  It is filled to the gunnels, but the ONLY thing we were totally unable to fit in is a clothes airer, which in any case is looking decidedly past its best - we'll buy a new one in Ireland.  Despite going no further than the end of the path, I've racked up over 5,000 steps.  Pretty much everything is packed, just a few bathroom and bedroom bits to add.  I'm not even certain we'll be able to fit in any duty free gin and wine!

W did most of the Tetris magic, but I have fetched and carried.  And I also spent some time cleaning, as we don't like to leave the apartment looking messy.  W is now cooking our evening meal, and we'll try to have an early night, as we're setting off at the crack of dawn - it's quite a long drive to the ferry.

See you on the other side!
