I drove to Jan's in Nottingham this morning as we were going to see Brian Cox later, something we'd both been looking forward to. 

We caught the bus into town and spent a while browsing the charity shops (a purchase was made) before making our way to the Broadway Cinema. There was plenty of time for a Greek platter and a glass of wine  - very nice! Then on to the Arena and we found our seats and waited.

Well we didn't really know what to expect, and if we had we probably wouldn't have gone, because most of what he talked about was unintelligible to us. By the end we were exhausted from the concentration required to try and understand the universe, blackholes, wormholes and everything. Overall we were pleased to have gone, but will be more selective next time.
