Honeysuckle

One of my favourite scents is of honeysuckle. It's up there with peat smoke.
I cycled out to Deerness hoping for migrant birds blown in on the easterly winds, but a change in wind direction to a northerly one, meant that the birds had taken advantage of it to move south. A few wheatear. and it was nice when a flock of golden plover crossed the road in front of me at little more than head-height.
