*Talking of which, I haven't switched the TV on much at all since the Queen died. Today, though, I watched her coffin's procession to Westminster Hall. Both the BBC and ITV deem her to be "laying" in state until her funeral on Monday. I do hope the eggs are solid gold!

Bah! Don't think Richard Dimbleby would have made such an error. There are times when formal language and correct grammar matter.
