September Sunshine...

Not a special effect, just looking through a dirty window from mum’s hospital bed.

Got to sleep at 3.30am after a seven hour ordeal in the Emergency Department last night (I’ve been advised by several people, including hospital staff, to lodge an official complaint re one particular ED doctor). Then, after four hours sleep, another emotional rollercoaster of a day, with conflicting opinions on mum’s prognosis. Hospital is definitely the right place for her right now (fighting a major infection), but hopefully with extra care and equipment put in place, she should be able to come home some time soon.

Another day where, without the help of amazingly kind neighbours and friends, I would’ve been completely lost...
